Concentrate and Infusions Production Supervisor Role
Concentrates and Infusions make up an important category at HPI, responsive to the production outputs of our in-house extraction laboratory as well as sourced raw goods. These inputs are incorporated into many of HPI’s finished goods, including but not limited to infused pre-rolls, infused flower, vape products, and edibles/tinctures. Active concentrates include, but are not limited to: THC distillate, bubble hash, kief, rosin, and hydro-carbon extracts.
The regulated nature of New York’s market includes numerous mandatories and inventory controls, particularly via the introduction of a state run track-and-trace system. Adherence to these regulations with accuracy is imperative for maintaining an efficient flow of products from production to finished goods for statewide wholesale. Attention to detail, organization, and systems management skills are necessary for this role. This role serves as a bridge between the Manufacturing department and the Laboratory. At the direction of the Director of Manufacturing, the Concentrate Infusions Manager consults the lab to obtain raw concentrates and prepares them per SOP guidelines to be delivered to Manufacturing for production. Such tasks will include infusing distillate with terpenes, infusing pre-roll material with hash or rosin, or preparing live resin for vape filling.
In addition to the physical infusions, this role will also oversee the completion of Batch Production Records and provide accurate accounting and recordkeeping of all work per state compliance guidelines. The role is a direct report to the Director of Manufacturing.

Ensure all Batch Production Records are accurately completed and returned to the Manufacturing Manager with each step of production. - Delegate Production to Concentrate and Infusions Associates According to SOPs : Review product SOPs with team and provide oversight to ensure proper production of all concentrate products with attention to QC
- Inventory Management: Proper inventory controls for all incoming concentrate materials.
- Management of Automated Infusion and Filling Equipment: Deep knowledge of concentrate production equipment, including but not limited to: Sorting Robotics JIKO Injection Infusion Machine, Thompson Duke Semi-Automatic Filling Machine, and Distillate Spraying Station. Oversee proper operation techniques and machine maintenance
- Utilize Production Software to Track Progress: Daily use of Production Software to track progress (Distru, Trello, Google Drive, etc.)
- Production Associate KPI Reporting: Track team output numbers and provide data on a regular cadence to the Manufacturing Manager.
- Regular Cross-Departmental Communications: Communicate daily with other Manufacturing supervisors as well as Compliance Director to ensure cohesion and flag any potential issues before and as they arise.
Qualifications:
- 3-years demonstrated experience working with and understanding the qualities/processes required with cannabis concentrates and infusions.
- Proficiency and command with cannabis infusion technologies and equipment.
- Ability to develop and implement manufacturing policies and procedures.
- Strong attention to details and data management.
