Job Summary:
The Senior/Lead Clinical Social Worker position provides care to students and their family within the Psychiatry-SCSD Program. Duties will include providing comprehensive care through assessment, psychotherapy with individuals, families and groups and referral to outside services as needed. Provides individual and/or group supervision to Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs), including clinical guidance, professional development, and support toward clinical licensure (LCSW). Provides supervision and evaluation of interns/fellows, including completion of field instruction evaluations in accordance with school requirements. Designs and delivers on-boarding, orientation, and ongoing educational sessions tailored to the developmental needs of trainees. Develops, coordinates, and oversees the Social Work internship and fellowship program, ensuring alignment with academic and licensing requirements. Collaborates with academic institutions to recruit, place, and evaluate Social Work interns and fellows.
Minimum Qualifications:
L.C.S.W. and 5 years relevant post-master's experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-masters experience preferably in a school, hospital and/or healthcare setting and working with child/adolescent patient population. PhD or PsyD preferred.
