This role will be based in Capital Region.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Paraplanner to join our team. The Paraplanner will provide support to financial advisors by preparing financial plans and analysis and gathering client data. The successful candidate will work independently and be highly organized while maintaining strict attention to detail.

Prepare financial plans and provide analysis and recommendations

Work closely with advisors to facilitate effective client meetings and planning sessions

Interact regularly with clients and respond to client inquiries

Gather client data, including risk tolerance and financial goals

Input client data into financial planning software and CRM (E-Money and Redtail respectively)

Maintain client records and ensure compliance

Assist with new business development and marketing efforts

Complete continuing education as required
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field

5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis required

CFP® or equivalent preferred but not required

FINRA licenses preferred but not required

NYS insurance licenses preferred but not required

Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Knowledge of financial planning software (preferably E-Money)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
Total Rewards Package:
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000, Non-Exempt, based experience.
