Job Overview:
We are seeking a self-directed, hands-on Warehouse Manager. Manages a team of 6-10 associates responsible for receiving, inventory control, and shipment of frozen product. Ensures continuous improvement in safety, food safety, and associate engagement. Works effectively in a matrixed organization and deals effectively with suppliers and 3rd party logistic providers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Promotes a safe working environment for employees by ensuring safety measures are in place and being adhered to.
· Manages warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
· Develops and implements processes to ensure that all warehouse activities are performed efficiently and accurately.
· Monitors inventory levels and implements strategies to optimize storage space and minimize stock shortages.
· Coordinates and oversees all inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries.
· Ensures compliance with all safety regulations, including proper use of equipment and handling of hazardous materials.
· Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
· Monitors and analyzes warehouse performance metrics and implements strategies to improve performance.
· Identifies and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
· Assists in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
· Ensures compliance with all warehouse policies and procedures; maintains a clean, organized facility.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
· Escalates issues as appropriate.
Your Qualifications:
· Completion of 4-year degree – Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering (and/or)
· 3+ years of successful, hands on, leadership experience within a food manufacturing environment, preferably within the baking or related industry
· Bilingual – English / Spanish – preferred
· Proficient utilizing MS Office and WMS / ERP Systems
· PIT experience - preferred
· Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor hourly associates and work effectively within a team
· Willingness and ability to resolve problems
· Positive and professional communication and customer service skills
· Good Organization and Time Management Skills
· Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings and late nights as required
· Partner and establish strong working relationships with other departments that provide support to the overall operation
· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
· Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
· Knowledge of OSHA Standards and regulations

Pay:
The pay range for this position is $65,000-75,000. We take into consideration a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
