A prominent fashion and fine art photographer’s studio is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our small team in Brooklyn. We are a fast-paced studio looking for a part-time employee who is eager to be involved in all aspects of production—from commercial and editorial photoshoots to the fabrication of prints and sculptures for exhibitions.This is a newly developing position that will be shaped by the candidate\'s skills. Please do not feel the need to have experience in all areas below to apply.SchedulePart-time, 3 days per week, with flexibility for occasional longer production days or on-location projects.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain production schedules, timelines, and budgets.Create post-production timelines and calendars in collaboration with producers and retouchers.Handle and scan high-resolution C-prints for retouching.Oversee printing, framing, mounting, and other production to ensure it meets the artist’s standards.Work with framers, fabricators, and galleries on the final presentation.Maintain an archive of technical specs and production notes for artworks.Organize and maintain studio spaces.Research and test materials, processes, and production methods.Anticipate production challenges and propose solutions.Manage priorities to allow the artist to focus on creative work.Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with partners and institutions.Support studio manager with proofing schedules, invoicing, and related tasks.Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.Ideal QualificationsExperience in the fashion or fine art industry.Knowledge of film and digital cameras and equipment.General technical proficiency; comfortable troubleshooting.Proficiency in G Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.Familiarity with drafting software (SketchUp, Rhino, CAD, etc).Experience handling photographic negatives and prints.Ability to work independently with sound judgment and discretion.Knowledge of woodworking, sculpture, or three-dimensional fabrication.Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.Appreciation for and understanding of the creative process, with experience collaborating with creative teams.Equal Opportunity StatementApplicants are considered regardless of race, color, religion, creed, age, gender, pregnancy, family status, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic in accordance with applicable law.
