Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and educating customers about our range of cannabis products. You will assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs while ensuring compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in the cannabis industry.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.
- Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
- Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer knowledge and promote sales.
- Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable options.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and proper phone etiquette.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is required; experience in the cannabis industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Supervising experience is a plus to help guide junior staff effectively.
