Job Summary:
- Teach in-person, at the bedside in acute care institution providing oversight of undergraduate clinical nursing students, hybrid and online courses for the College of Nursing.
- Advise nursing students
- Participate in scholarly activities
- Participate in appropriate professional, college and university service
commitments
- Other responsibilities as delineated in Faculty Handbook and at the direction of College of Nursing administration
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current unencumbered New York State RN license
- Two years bedside clinical experience
- MSN or relevant graduate degree from an accredited institution completed prior to the start date
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed doctorate
- Formal coursework in Nursing education
- Demonstrated commitment to working closely with undergraduate students in small-class settings in a dynamic and diverse/multicultural learning environment
