Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for toddlers. As a Lead Teacher, you will oversee classroom activities, support developmental milestones, and collaborate with staff and families to promote positive learning experiences. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of childhood development, and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in toddlers.
Supervise and guide assistant teachers to ensure a cohesive classroom environment.
Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating with parents regularly.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that complies with licensing regulations and best practices.
Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques and behavior management strategies.
Facilitate activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning through play.
Ensure all children receive proper care, including feeding, diapering, and nap times.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; toddler care experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
Experience with classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving techniques.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.
Ability to lead a classroom effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
