We’re a boutique creative and web agency specializing in branding, design, websites, and support services for investment firms, including hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity firms, VCs, and other financial services organizations. We combine strategic thinking, high-caliber design, and a deep understanding of the investment landscape.

We’re growing, and we’re ready to bring on our first dedicated sales and business development hire. This is a unique opportunity to build a sales program from the ground up.

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to generate new business opportunities, nurture leads, and help refine our sales process. You’ll work directly with the founder and creative team to shape how we attract and win ideal clients.

Responsibilities

Identify, research, and target prospective clients in the investment industry (asset management, PE, RIAs, etc.)
Develop and manage a structured sales pipeline, from first touch to contract close
Conduct outreach (email, LinkedIn, events) to generate qualified conversations
Pitch services, communicate value, and prepare proposals with the team
Collaborate with leadership to refine offers, pricing, and positioning
Track performance and report regularly on pipeline status
Build long-term relationships with decision-makers
Represent the agency at industry events and conferences
Help define and implement sales and client outreach systems, processes, and tools

Requirements

3–7 years of sales or business development experience
Familiarity with investment firms or financial services
Background in creative agencies, digital services, or professional services preferred, but not required
Strong communication and consultative selling skills
Highly organized and proactive
Comfortable with outbound outreach
Experience with CRM tools

Nice to Have

Network in financial services or private markets
Experience selling branding, websites, or creative services
Understanding of compliance considerations in financial marketing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
